8. LOVE CAME DOWN

STORY:

A couple of years ago, I heard a story about 3 young women who were held in captivity for at least 10 years. All 3 were saved in a dramatic rescue. It broke my heart to hear their horrific stories and what was done to them. I was reminded of my own personal story where my innocence was stolen as a young child and as a teenager (unbeknownst to my parents.) I could relate to feelings of hopelessness, despair, and wanting to end my life. But, praise God that He came down to save us from this sick, and messed up world. He became shame for us, in order for us to be free and pure again.

I thank God for those 3 girls - and for His Love that brings true restoration.
